- Students may purchase tickets for any ASO series (except Compass Bank Sounds for Summer or special events) for $7. Tickets may be purchased in advance or at the door. (Student tickets are subject to availability, one ticket per student with ID only).
- We accept cash, checks and all major credit cards .

Advance Ticket Sales
Tickets may be purchased in advance for any ASO event by calling the ASO Box Office at (205) 251-7727 Monday-Friday, 8 am-5pm CT, or online 48 hours or more before the event. Please visit the above "Buy tickets online" link for specific information regarding online purchases.
Day of Performance Sales
To purchase tickets on the day of the event, please check the individual series information listed below.
Masterworks
- Friday performances - purchase at Alabama Symphony Orchestra (ASO) box office until 5 pm CT. After that time, tickets may be purchased at the door at the Alys Stephens Center (ASC).
- Saturday performances – purchase tickets at the ASC box office beginning at 12 noon by calling 975-2787 or in person at the ASC box office.
- Sunday performances – purchase tickets at the ASC box office beginning at 12 noon in person or by calling 975-2787
Alabama Symphony POPS!
Please note: all regular season POPS performances are Friday evenings at the BJCC. Advance tickets are available only through the Alabama Symphony Orchestra Box Office Monday- Friday 7:30 am- 5 pm.
Day of event purchases: tickets may be purchased from the ASO Box office. Any tickets remaining for purchase after the office closes at 5 pm will be available for purchase at 7 pm at the BJCC Box Office.
Symphony 7
- All Symphony 7 performances are Thursday evenings at the Alys Stephens Center. Purchase tickets at the ASO box office until 4:30 CT. After 4:30 pm, tickets may be purchased in person at the ASC Box Office.
Family Concerts
- Sunday performances begin at 2:30 pm (pre-concert activities start at 1:30). Tickets may be purchased the day of the event beginning at 12 pm at the ASC Box Office.
Coffee Concerts
- Friday morning performances begin at 11 am. Tickets may be purchased from the ASO Box office by phone or in person until 9:00 am. After 9:00 am, tickets may be purchased at the ASC Box office.
Open Rehearsals
- Tickets may be purchased the day of the rehearsal at the ASC Box office.
Concertmaster & Friends
- Tuesday evening performances begin at 7:00 pm at Brock Recital Hall (located on the campus of Samford University). Tickets may be purchased at the ASO Box office the day of the performance until 5:00 pm.
- Beginning at 6pm, tickets will be available at Brock Recital Hall.
University of Montevallo
- Tickets are available for purchase at the ASO Box Office until 4 pm the day of each performance. Beginning at 6 pm, tickets will be available for purchase at Palmer Auditorium (located on the campus of the University of Montevallo)
Handel’s Messiah
Please note - this event typically sells out early
- Tickets may be purchased at the ASO Box Office until 5:00 pm.
- After 5:00 pm tickets may be purchased at the ASC Box Office.
New Year’s Eve Concert
Please note - this event typically sells out early
- Tickets may be purchased Saturday, December 29th at the ASO Box office from 9 am – 12 pm
- Any remaining tickets will be available at the Alabama Theater after 4 pm on Monday, December 31st.
Reflect & Rejoice: A Community Tribute to Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
- Tickets will be available for purchase at 12 pm on Sunday, January 20th at the ASC Box Office.
