How To Support The ASO: Making An Annual Gift
Supporting the ASO is easy, rewarding and tax deductible! The ASO accepts gifts of cash or check, stock, and credit.
Pledges may be made in any amount, payable monthly, quarterly, or yearly. Gifts to the ASO are acknowledged, unless requested to remain anonymous, in the Donor Honor Roll in each issue of Opus. Gifts may be made online by clicking on the Just Give icon or gifts may be mailed to 3621 6th Avenue South, Birmingham, Alabama 35222.

Gifts to the ASO Operating Fund – Making the ASO complete
The Alabama Symphony Orchestra is made up of 54 classically trained full-time musicians. Salaries for our outstanding musicians, as well as hall rental, music rental or purchase, and many other factors contribute to expenses required to provide musical performances of the highest caliber to audiences night after night.It takes much more than ticket revenue, which only covers about 40% of these expenses, to keep the music alive. That’s why contributions to our Operating fund are so important. We may have every musician and instrument onstage and each note on the page rehearsed, but without you, our orchestra is not complete.
