Yuriko Yasuda

Yuriko Yasuda
Principal Second Violin

In 2005, Yuriko Yasuda completed a fellowship with the New World Symphony in Miami which provides top graduates of music programs in the United States and abroad with the opportunity to enhance their musical education with the finest professional training. Graduates of the program are prepared to take on leadership roles in orchestras and ensembles around the world. Ms. Yasuda received a bachelor of music in violin performance from the New England Conservatory of Music, Boston, and a master of music in violin performance from Northern Illinois University in DeKalb, Ill.

Yasuda's orchestral experience includes performances with the Tanglewood Music Festival, the National Repertory Orchestra, the Festival Choir and Orchestra of Bach International Academy in Stuttgart, Germany, and the Pacific Music Festival in Japan. She served as concertmaster of the Civic Orchestra of Chicago. She has given solo recitals in the United States and Japan.

Yasuda joined the ASO as principal second violin for the orchestra's 2005-2006 season.
