Kevin Kozak
Horn

Kevin Kozak has been a member of the Alabama Symphony horn section since 1981. He holds a Master of Music degree from the Manhattan School of Music in New York.

Mr. Kozak has performed, recorded and toured with the Atlanta Symphony, the St. Louis Symphony, and the Nashville Symphony. His performances include seven recordings with the Atlanta Symphony and appearances in Carnegie Hall with both the Atlanta and St. Louis Orchestras. He also performs as a studio musician in Nashville, recording the theme music for CNN, Wimbledon, IMax Theaters and TBS, as well as commercial and religious recordings.

Locally, Mr. Kozak is on the faculties of Samford University and the University of Montevallo, where he performs with the Faculty Brass and Wind Quintets of these institutions. Mr. Kozak also teaches horn at University of Alabama at Birmingham.

Mr. Kozak is a long time faculty member of the Eastern Music Festival in Greensboro, NC. He resides in Homewood with his wife, Sophie, and two sons, Michael and Thomas.
