Paul Jackson
Trumpet

Mr. Jackson has been a member of the Alabama Symphony Orchestra since 1980. Prior to coming to Alabama, he served as Assistant Principal Trumpet of the Portland Symphony (Maine), Co-Principal Trumpet of the Orchestra Sinfonica Brasileira (Rio de Janeiro, Brasil), Principal Trumpet of the Des Moines Metro Opera, and Principal Trumpet of the Atlanta Opera. He has been on the trumpet faculty of many colleges and universities, including Berklee, Harvard, Eastern Nazarene College, Georgia State University, University of Montevallo, and Morris Brown College. Mr. Jackson attended the New England Conservatory of Music where he studied with Roger Voisin.
