Meet the Musicians

Judith Donaldson
Clarinet
Judith O. Donaldson, clarinet, was born in Minnesota. She is a graduate of New England Conservatory, where her teacher was Rosario Mazzeo of the Boston Symphony. Past teachers have been Hans-Rudolf Stalder and Anthony Gigliotti. She was appointed to the Alabama (then the Birmingham) Symphony Orchestra in 1966 as Second, Eb, and Assistant Principal Clarinet, serving as Acting Principal during the 1980-81 Season. She has also been a member of the Eastern Music Festival Orchestra, in Greensboro, North Carolina, since 1976. She has done free-lance work with The Florida Orchestra (Tampa), the Jacksonville (Florida) Symphony, and the Tuscaloosa Symphony
