The ASO pays tribute to Edward Elgar in celebration of his 150th birthday. Known around the world as the composer of Land of Hope and Glory (or in the US – the graduation march), Elgar’s music is filled with passion and nostalgia as well as pageantry. This program explores the composer’s more sentimental side.
