Music impacts our lives in powerful ways - what would our lives be like without music? Music can commemorate the past, be a powerful symbol of our history, can be propaganda, protest, secret message or powerful sales tool. It can celebrate, mourn, soothe, uplift and praise. This program will help students explore the function of music in our society. Featuring music by Dukas, Handel, Bizet, Strauss, Beethoven, Stravinsky and more!
